Strong Motion Monitor 2.60.1

I own the Strong Motion Monitor app provided by the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention in Japan. The app's URL is hard-coded, which may result in not reflecting site design changes.

If you encounter issues with the notification sound after updating to Android OS 8.0, troubleshooting can be done by resetting it from the settings -> notification sound.

The notification system has been updated to alert users of new earthquakes on the Strong Motion Monitor site. Initially, a notification sound will accompany the first report, while subsequent reports will be sent without a notification sound.

Available options in the menu button include settings, screen shots, image sharing, and display history. Within the settings menu, users can configure:

• Sleep off enable / disable
• Notification enable / disable
• Background map white / black
• Main (Left) map type settings
• Sub (Right) map type settings
• Server synchronization offset time
• Strong motion monitoring server selection

During operation in portrait mode, the following features can be accessed:

• The slide bar in the lower-left corner shows past data up to 1 hour.
• The slider bar's left or right button allows users to move data before and after the second (previous monitor is 2 seconds) continuously by holding down the button.
• To return to displaying current time data when showing past data, pressing the bottom right button is sufficient.

Users can switch between different map types by swiping. Screenshots are saved in "/sdcard/data/net.hirozo.KiKNetViewPkg/".
